SENIOR (2012): Started in 10 games and made 20 appearences overall...ranked fourth on the team with five points, collecting a goal and and three assists...netted his lone goal of the season on Sept. 14 vs. Canisius.

JUNIOR (2011): Was limited to just 14 starts in 2011 because of a nagging knee injury...he collected one assist. 

SOPHOMORE (2010): Was limited to just six matches because of a knee injury.

CLUB: El Paso Patriots of the PDL, Mexicas FC and the El Paso Indios where he was a teammate of Brooks, winning the U.S. Adult Soccer Association National Cup in 2007.

PERSONAL: Born on June 15, 1990, in El Paso, Texas... Parents are Mario and Trinidad Alvarez of El Paso... Has an older brother (Marco Medina) and a younger sister (Brenda)... Kinesiology major... Most memorable sports thrill was training with Club America in Mexico City in the summer of his junior year... Credits Coaches Delgado and Javier McDonald for giving him the soccer experiences he won't forget.
